Carved and painted bird tree. The bird tree has two branches, one with a downy woodpecker and the other with a red-winged blackbird. It sports original paint and is in fair-to-good condition, with some minor wear and paint loss, and a missing beak on the woodpecker. Early 20th century, American.

Carved Civil War soldier whirligig. The carving includes the soldier’s cap, knapsack and facial details. The whirligig has had a rough life, missing one arm, both feet and both paddles and with significant paint wear. Child’s Sheraton Chest of Drawers, cherry and poplar. The chest sports three graduated dovetailed drawers, original brasses and an attractive old, and possibly original, finish. In addition to its original function as a child’s chest of drawers, it can also be used as a night stand or as an end table next to a sofa. The chest is on very good condition, save for some stains on the top. A very special, charming piece! Circa 1820-1840, Ohio or Pennsylvania.

Very rare early 18th century paneled cupboard, oak and walnut. The cupboard sports an excellent cornice, an open top shaped with ogee and cyma curves, a rosette carved into a small panel on each side of a paneled door, the door attached with butterfly hinges. The sides extend to the floor, forming the legs on which the cupboard stands. The cupboard is in very good condition. This is an opportunity to purchase a very early cupboard with a museum provenance. Circa 1725, Deerfield, Massachusetts.

Early painted wardrobe, pine and oak. The wardrobe sports original blue and rusty red paint, a bold cornice, a single paneled door on early rat-tail hinges flanked by fluted pilasters, and a molded base. The door opens onto an interior with a curved shelf above two rows of pegs. The wardrobe originally had no additional shelves but these could be added to convert the wardrobe to an entertainment center and/or for additional storage. The wardrobe is in very good condition with some wear and minor losses. The cornice and upper trim molding are likely well-done replacements. Late 18th or early 19th century, Pennsylvania.

Hudson River landscape painting, oil on panel, unframed, signed “Redpath 1866”. The painting is in its original untouched condition and is in very good condition.
Ralph Redpath was a mid-19th-century American folk artist who was primarily active in New York State's Mohawk Valley and Hudson River Valley regions. He painted in a naive, early American folk art style. His work is frequently compared to the bold, stylized landscapes of Thomas Chambers. Redpath's landscapes frequently featured small details that repeated across different works. For instance, a signature motif includes a man wearing a hat and holding a walking stick, positioned to stare out at a body of water. : A piece identified as Redpath's work from the Garbisch Collection is preserved in the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Art.
