Banister-back great chair. This imposing chair sports a scrolled crest, wonderful sloping arms, large mushroom finials on the hand grips and a good splint seat. It is in good condition, sturdy and ready to use, but with repairs to the legs, to one of the mushroom finials and to one of the back posts. 18th century, New England.
