Chippendale tiger maple slant-front desk. The desk sports strong tiger striping, an attractive interior with drawers and cubbies, and a strong Chippendale base with attractive cutouts. The desk is in very good condition, marred only by a very slight warpage of the lid and minor wear and tear from age and usage. Late 18th century, probably New England.
