Impressive portraits of a man and wife, o/c, unsigned. Both subjects are shown seated with a romantic landscape visible through a window behind them. The woman is holding a book while the man is writing a letter with a quill pen. The portraits are housed in impressive original matching mahogany veneered frames. Both paintings have been conserved, relined, with scattered inpainting. There are slight veneer losses to the frames. Circa 1840, American school.

The pot features an overall floral decoration, with a soldered two-part body having an applied gooseneck spout, a reinforced handle, a hinged domed lid with a brass finial, and a flared foot. The pot is in fair to good condition, with oxidation, flaking to the patina and areas of resoldering. Early-mid 19th century, Pennsylvania.

Comb-back Windsor rocker, Stephen Tracy. The chair sports an old refinish with traces of old paint and a nicely shaped chestnut seat. It is signed underneath, “S. Tracy”. Stephen Tracy was a nephew of Ebenezer Tracy, the prolific Connecticut chairmaker. The chair is in good condition, with an old repair to the center rail and some minor inactive worm damage under the seat. Circa 1800-1820, CT or NH.
