This full-length portrait depicts a young girl with blond hair and a ruddy complexion, wearing a white dress with puffy sleeves, with blue bloomers showing beneath, a blue belt and a coral necklace. Framed in the original ebonized and gilt frame. The painting is in very good condition, with only minor in-painting. Circa 1840, American School.

The chest sports two short and one long faux drawers over two real drawers, a sponge decorated façade on a black ground, snipe hinges, double arch moldings and original trumpet feet. It is in very good condition considering its age, with replaced drawer runners and the expected wear and tear from age and usage. The original brasses have been replaced with other period brasses. Early 18th century, New England.

Architectural Corner Cupboard

Exceptional architectural-form corner cupboard, pine. The cupboard sports an extremely bold cornice, attractive dentil molding, two glass doors above with mostly original wavy glass panes, butterfly shaped shelves, and two raised panel doors below. The ”H” and butterfly hinges are original although the H” hinges have been moved. The brass knobs on the doors are replacements. The cupboard is in very good condition. It was found in a stone house in Stone Ridge, NY. Circa 1770-1790.

Folk art still life theorem on velvet. The theorem depicts a blue and white porcelain pitcher, a watermelon, a basket of fruit and other fruit sitting on a wooden tray. It is housed under glass in a later giltwood frame with carved corner elements. The theorem is in fair-good condition, with toning and staining, particularly to the border. Not examined out of the frame. 19th century, possibly Southern.
