Naïve portrait of a young girl holding a basket of flowers, o/c, unsigned. This full-length portrait depicts a young girl with blond hair and a ruddy complexion, wearing a white dress with puffy sleeves, with blue bloomers showing beneath, a blue belt and a coral necklace. Framed in the original ebonized and gilt frame. The painting is in very good condition, marred only by a small tear to the right of the girl’s head. Circa 1840, American School.
