Wooden trencher with stone fruit. The trencher sports an old painted surface and holds seven pieces of Italian carved alabaster fruit, consisting of an apricot, apple, banana, fig, orange, peach and pear. The trencher has some age cracks and both the trencher and the fruit have minor defects from age and usage. The trencher dates from the 19th century. The fruit are probably 20th century.

It has great color and patina and a very attractive form.
