Nine-patch pieced quilt. A very nice pieced quilt featuring alternating nine-patch blocks set on point against a vibrant yellow field. The quilt is constructed from a variety of period printed cotton fabrics in shades of red, pink, blue and brown, and finished with contrasting red and black floral borders. It is backed by a blue and white gingham small check.There is extensive hand-quilting throughout. Very good condition, with no stains or wear. Late 19th century, American.
