Primitive hanging cupboard. The cupboard sports original red paint, attractive moldings top and bottom, and a single door attached with hand-forged hinges. It is constructed with rose-headed nails and unusually shaped dovetails. The cupboard is all original, with the expected wear from age and usage. Looks great on a table top as well as hanging on a wall. (The metal hangers shown in the photos are now missing but can be purchased at any hardware store.) 18th or very early 19th century, New England.
