Country sofa/settee, pine. The sofa sports a shaped back over rounded arms with applied cutout fronts flanking a plank seat, the whole supported by robust turned legs mortised through the seat. It retains an old, dry surface and comes with a later removable cushion. The sofa can either be upholstered or done with cushions and pillows. It is in very good condition with the expected wear from age and usage. Circa 1820, New England.
