Paint decorated checkerboard table. This unique piece sports a square top and two extended sides with an open compartment supported by four square-form legs with tapered sides at the bottom. The top sports an original black and red painted checkered surface with light incising to each square. The legs retain their original black paint, the compartments with original brown paint. The table is in good condition, with the expected wear and tear from age and usage. 19th century.
