Southern Federal tiger maple hunt board. The hunt board sports a rectangular two-board top over three short drawers above a beautifully scalloped apron, raised on six square tapered legs. The secondary wood is tulip poplar. The hunt board is in good condition, structurally sound and ready to use, with defects to the finish on the top and bowing to one front leg. A rare piece! Early 19th century, Southern U.S.
