A beautiful William & Mary paint decorated pine blanket chest. The chest sports two short and one long faux drawers over two real drawers, a sponge decorated façade on a black ground, snipe hinges, double arch moldings and original trumpet feet. It is in very good condition considering its age, with replaced drawer runners and the expected wear and tear from age and usage. The original brasses have been replaced with other period brasses. Early 18th century, New England.
