Two-part pewter cupboard in old red paint, cherry and poplar. The upper section sports an applied cornice over an open top with beautifully scalloped sides and two shelves with a plate rail and plate grooves. (One plate rail is missing). The bottom section has three small drawers above two raised panel doors, fluted quarter panels and ogee bracket feet. The cupboard is in very good condition, structurally sound, with replaced brasses and the expected wear and tear from age and usage. Circa 1780, Pennsylvania.
