Carved dome-top trunk. The trunk is constructed of one-inch boards and sports beautiful fan carvings on the front and both sides. The underside of the lid is painted with a stylized scene of three men and a woman relaxing by a fountain. The trunk is in fair condition, with considerable paint wear on the lid and losses to the corners. 18th century, possibly New Mexico.
