Portrait of a Boy in Red
Portrait of a boy in a red dress, o/c, attributed to John H. Keeley, (1817-1866). The boy is pictured sitting in a child’s fancy chair that rests on a patterned carpet. The painting is in good condition, relined, with craquelure, and with a small restoration in the boy’s forehead and on the proper left shoulder. Circa 1840, Massachusetts or Vermontl.

Pewter Cupboard
Early pewter cupboard, pine. The cupboard is a nice small size, with dovetailed construction, and sporting an open top with two shelves and plate rails, attractive scalloped sides, a beautiful cut-out at the top, and a very attractive warm old surface. It is in good condition, with only some minor damage to the bottom rear of the proper right side and the wear and tear commensurate with age and usage. 18th century, Continental, probably Dutch.

Grain painted jelly cupboard, pine. The cupboard sports an attractive old grain painted surface with an earlier coat of paint underneath. It has a rectangular top with a shaped gallery above a pair of dovetailed drawers over two paneled doors opening onto a shelved interior. The cupboard is in good condition, marred only by a vertical shrinkage crack to the lower right molded stile and the expected wear and tear from age and usage. Mid-19th century, American.
