Portrait of a boy in a red dress, o/c, attributed to John H. Keeley, (1817-1866). The boy is pictured sitting in a child’s fancy chair that rests on a patterned carpet. The painting is in good condition, relined, with craquelure, and with a small restoration in the boy’s forehead and on the proper left shoulder. Circa 1840, Massachusetts or Vermontl.

Southern Federal tiger maple hunt board. The hunt board sports a rectangular two-board top over three short drawers above a beautifully scalloped apron, raised on six square tapered legs. The secondary wood is tulip poplar. The hunt board is in good condition, structurally sound and ready to use, with defects to the finish on the top and bowing to one front leg. A rare piece! Early 19th century, Southern U.S.

The cupboard is a nice small size, with dovetailed construction, and sporting an open top with two shelves and plate rails, attractive scalloped sides, a beautiful cut-out at the top, and a very attractive warm old surface. It is in good condition, with only some minor damage to the bottom rear of the proper right side and the wear and tear commensurate with age and usage. 18th century, Continental, probably Dutch.
