Full-bodied molded copper gamecock weathervane. The weathervane has cast iron feet and flat copper tail feathers. It is in very good condition, with some rust to the feet and some loss to the gold paint. The weathervane sits on a contemporary metal stand.

“Eagle” Kazak area rug. The rug sports four “eagle” medallions with quadrupeds and other symbols. It is signed and dated 1901, (1319) in the weave. The rug is a light tribal weight and is dyed with aniline dyes. It is in very good condition with even wear.

Painted Pennsylvania two-part Dutch cupboard. The cupboard sports original red and white paint, a bold cornice, two glass doors in the top section, each with six panes of old wavy glass, and attractive rope-turned trim framing both top and bottom sections. The bottom section has two small drawers over two raised panel doors. The cupboard is in very good condition and is all original, except that the pie shelf has been built up by 3½” inches. 19th century, Pennsylvania.

Folk art portrait of an elderly woman, oil on a wooden panel, illegible signature on back. The woman sits on a paint decorated Federal chair, holding an open book in her hand. Behind her is red drapery and a window that looks out on a river with a sailboat and with a forest and mountains in the far background. The portrait is in very good condition. The panel is flat and the painting itself is marred only by a small scratch on the woman’s lower arm and on the book cover. The portrait is presented in a beautiful period frame. Circa 1820-30, American School.
