Southern yellow pine pie safe. The pie safe sports twelve pierced tin panels, a molded rectangular top and high turned legs. The panels each have a highly unusual moon and stars design. The pie safe is in very good condition with only the normal wear expected from age and usage. Mid-19th century, Southern U.S.
