Swell-bodied running horse weathervane. The form is a classic flattened full body in copper, with a cast iron or zinc head, applied copper ears and a sheet copper tail. It is in excellent condition with a weathered verdigris surface, no losses, and a few repaired bullet holes. Probably by A.L. Jewel or Cushing and White, mid-19th century.
