The desk sports an attractive old refinish, a dovetailed top, four graduated drawers with original brasses, an attractive stepped interior with an interesting arrangement of drawers including a secret compartment, and an applied bracket base. It is in very good condition, with replaced hinges and wear commensurate with age. 18th century, New England.
