Portrait of a young girl, oil on panel, unsigned. The painting is presented in an original gold leaf frame. It descended within a Western Massachusetts family that believed the painting was done by Robert Peckham, a prolific 19th century folk artist, best known for his portraits of children. This lovely and very special portrait is in very good condition with some spots of inpainting. Circa 1830, Massachusetts.
