Paint decorated dome-top box, pine. This nail-constructed box sports a hinged lid and is painted with black and yellow swags and green and yellow dots on a light salmon ground. It is in good condition, considering its age, with two shrinkage cracks on the lid and the expected wear from age and usage. Mid-19th century, New England.
