Federal chest of drawers, maple, with some tiger striping. The chest sports four graduated drawers with beaded edges, an attractive top with tiger striping and a molded edge, and wide backboards. It is in very good condition, with no repairs or replacements but with shrinkage cracks on both ends, not unusual for a chest of this age. The brasses have been replaced. Circa 1790-1810, New England.
