Chippendale tall chest of drawers, cherry. The chest appears to have five graduated drawers, but has only four in reality as what appears to be two drawers at the top is actually a single bonnet drawer. The chest sports an excellent bracket base and is constructed with large dovetails. It is in very good condition, marred only by minor damage to one drawer lip and repairs to two drops on the apron. The brasses are replacements. Circa 1780-1790, New England.
