Hepplewhite dough box in blue paint. The box sports old blue paint over the original green, a two-board top with battens at the ends, a dovetailed box with canted sides, and splayed tapered legs. It is in good condition, with paint wear/flaking and the expected wear from age and usage. A lovely accent piece! 19th century, American.
