Antique pierced banneret weathervane, molded and sheet copper. The banner is beautifully decorated with pierced designs. The shaft is decorated with four leaves below a “witch’s hat” finial. The weathervane sports an untouched surface, with an attractive verdigris and traces of gilding. The metal stand is new. Late 19th century, American.
