Early hanging cupboard, cherry. The cupboard has a raised panel door assembled with wooden pegs, and fluted side boards. The door opens to an interior with a single shelf. Originally, there was an upper half-shelf as well, an early feature, but that shelf is now missing. The cupboard is constructed with large dovetails and sports its original surface. It is in very good condition, considering its age. Some moldings have been restored and the door is slightly warped. The hinges have been moved to compensate. 18th century, American.
