18th century banister-back armchair. The chair sports an old red finish, with an arched crest rail, carved vertical slats, rolled arms, sausage turned legs and button feet. It is in very good condition. The rush seat is replaced. Would make a great pair with a nearly identical chair, (item #140196), on our website. Circa 1740-1760, Hudson Valley.
