Walnut step-back pewter cupboard. This two-part cupboard has an open top with plate-grooved shelves and spoon slots on the center shelf. The lower section has an arrangement of six drawers with thumbnail molded edges and two blind-paneled doors with original rat-tail hinges. Both the top and bottom sections as well as the shelf-fronts sport attractive reeded molding. The cupboard is in good condition with minor restoration, missing plate rails and the expected wear and tear from age and usage. 18th or early 19th century, probably NJ or PA.
