Early settle bench/bed, pine. The bench unfolds into a bed by unhooking three iron hooks. It sports a very old second coat of paint, a seat with a scrubbed surface, beautifully scrolled ends and the original iron hardware. The bench can be used for storage as well as for seating. It is in very good condition, displaying only the expected degree of wear from age and usage. Early 19th century, probably Quebec origin.
