A rare and unusual Windsor table, maple and pine. The table sports an old black varnish over the original green paint, bamboo turned legs attached to a beveled-edge platform, with an elongated shaft and square top having an applied molded edge. The top of the shaft has an old repair. 18th century, New England. A similar table is shown in “The Windsor Style in America”, by Charles Santore, page 227.
