Queen Anne candlestand, maple with some tiger. The candlestand sports a round dish top, a baluster turned post and cabriole legs ending in snake feet. The legs are dovetailed into the post and secured with wrought iron straps underneath attached with rose headed nails. The candlestand is very dainty and well proportioned. It is in very good condition, with no repairs or replacements. 18th century, New England.
