An exceptional Queen Anne lift-top blanket chest, maple. The chest sports two false drawers over two real drawers and is up on a high Queen Anne bracket foot, with early Queen Anne drops on the base. Other notable features include early double arch molding, a lid with a thumb-molded edge, the original lock, original strap hinges and an old, probably original finish. Circa 1750-1760, New England.
