Folk art portrait of a brother and sister, oil on canvas, unsigned. The portrait depicts the siblings situated in a garden setting, wearing clothing with bright colors. The boy is holding a plate of peaches and grapes. The girl is holding a cluster of grapes. The portrait is housed in a period frame and is in very good condition, having been professionally cleaned and relined, with some craquelure. Attributed to Susan Waters, (1823-1900). Circa 1845, New York or Pennsylvania.
