Paint decorated dome-top box. The box is decorated with yellow flowers and green leaves on a beautiful blue background. It also sports hand-forged iron handles. The box is in good untouched condition, with a chip out of one side and the paint wear expected from age and usage. Early 19th century, Hudson Valley, NY.
