Three-part painted Mennonite secretary, cherry, with poplar secondary wood. The top section sports two glass doors with old wavy glass and a very attractive cornice. The center section opens onto an interior with seven small drawers surrounding a large cubby. The bottom section sports three large drawers. The secretary is in very good condition, retaining its original red and green surface and with only a few “dings” from age and usage. The white porcelain knobs are possibly replacements. Mid-19th century, Ohio.
