A beautiful running horse weathervane, copper with a zinc head. This weathervane boasts outstanding verdigris with some traces of gilt and is in very good condition. The metal stand is new. The weathervane was found on a farm in Vermont and was made by the A.L. Jewel Company in Waltham, MA, The company was active from 1852 to 1867, and was then taken over by Cushing and White.
