Two-piece Federal corner cupboard, cherry. The upper section has two glass doors with 16 panes of old, wavy glass, opening onto a cream-painted interior with shelves having plate grooves for enhanced display. The lower section sports two half-drawers over two beautifully recessed paneled doors. Other features of note are the dentil molding on the cornice, original brass “H” hinges, and a high bracket base with an attractive scrolled apron. Sporting a beautiful cherry color and nice graining, this cupboard is bound to be focal point in any room in which it is placed. It is in very good condition, with only some minor wear and tear from age and usage. Circa 1800, Pennsylvania.
