An outstanding 18th century painted hutch table, with later 19th century sage green paint over the original red. The table sports a two-board round top, a single dovetailed drawer in the base and excellent turnings on the posts. The base is constructed with wooden pegs. Casters for the legs came with the table and can be attached if desired. This exceptional country piece is in very good condition, showing only the expected wear and tear associated with age and usage. Seats four comfortably. 18th century, New England.
