A 17th century stretcher-base tavern table. The table sports a two-board rectangular yellow pine top with breadboard ends and an oak base with excellent early vase and ring turnings. (We believe the top to be a well-done replacement.) The table has excellent proportions, is sturdy and in very good condition. Circa 1680, American.
