Rare presentation redware jar, with yellow, green and light brownish-yellow glaze, rope twisted handles, decorated with squiggles and the name, "Sarah Dilworth" written in script, along with a date which is illegible except for "1825". This jar was made by David Mandeville, who operated a pottery in Circleville, NY in the early 19th century. The jar is in good condition, except for some abrasion and chipping in the glaze, consistent with use over a long period of time.
