“Winter Winds”, oil on canvas, signed “Martin Peterson”.
Martin Peterson, (1866-1956), studied at the National Academy of Design, and produced a large body of etched work in the tradition of John Sloan and Reginald Marsh. He also painted landscapes and figure subjects. Peterson received numerous rewards during his career and his work today is found in many museums. Excellent condition.
