An outstanding, visually pleasing and hard-to-find full-bodied copper ox weathervane.
This weathervane has nice details and a very expressive face. It dates to the last half of the 19th century, and was made by Cushing in Waltham MA. (See L.W. Cushing & Sons, "Catalog of Copper Weathervanes No. 9", page 11 for a nearly identical ox weathervane.)
The weathervane has expertly repaired bullet holes, and has been regilded. The stand is new. We guarantee this weathervane to be old, not a reproduction.
Dimensions: 34” long x 21” high x 6” deep.
