Exceptional Chippendale tavern table, constructed of maple and pine.
The table has a single board top attached with wooden pins, breadboard ends, and molded legs, stretchers and apron. The top also has a molded edge, as do the breadboard ends. The table has one overlapping drawer with thumbnail molding. 18th century, New Hampshire origin. Ex Fairfield Whiting collection.
