Chippendale figured maple chest of drawers, having four graduated drawers on a bracket base.
The chest has a very attractive old mellow color and patina and is a nice small size. The cut-outs on the bracket base add to the attractiveness of this chest. The drawers are nicely dovetailed and the brasses are old, but not original. The chest dates from the late 18th century, and was likely made in New England.
